They are easier in the sense that in there is an achievement for each zone in Outlands and Northrend so you can track what you need better per zone and not per continent.

If you are missing 5-10 quests in EK or Kalimdor there is a lot of ground to cover and retrace for finding the missing quests, that isn't the case in Outlands or Northrend.
