I see goblins, the fast talkers, realizing how important language is in manipulating people and getting money. Anything can be solved with fast talking. If you failed? It's because you didn't use the right words. Of course, when you failed, explosives and gadgets and guns are more then welcome. And sometimes they might try to use them anyway and not put a effort into words.

...And yes, that is a slight Labyrinth reference in the last bit. >.>
