And yet the only person I know (in real life -- WoW forums don't count) that uses that term is both FROM and LIVES IN China. Go figure. Really, it always makes me laugh when she writes, "Some time, you're going to have to come visit me here in the Far East!" even though I live in the Western part of the U.S., so for me, China is more like the Far West, and Germany is the Far East, lol. Global geography terms that assume a fixed point of reference on our spherical world make me laugh. ;-)And to all those who are going to post "The U.S. / West/ Europe / etc. is JUST AS BAD AS CHINA OMG" really have to get some perspective. Having studied political science, travelled a lot, and lived abroad, I gotta say, we in the U.S. have a lot of problems, but I've never seen a place with more freedom than here. If the U.S. had the censorship China has, then Fox News would be People's Television, and instead of praising Bush and excoriating Obama, while CNN praises Obama and excoriates Bush, all channels would praise our glorious President no matter who was in office. Wake up and smell the coffee, people, geez.
