A couple years ago, an online friend gave me his account with 3 months worth of game time when I expressed interest in WoW. I've always been afraid to contact Blizz about seeing if I can switch the account into my own name. I didn't want to risk the account getting frozen and have the possibility of starting over from the beginning. My friend did eventually make another account for himself and pulled the characters he wanted(I refuse to reuse toons). After reading this article, I'm starting to wonder if I should try. Any legal advise on how Blizz might react to this request?
