It's occasionally a good thing to go back and look at selections from past Moviewatches. I try and avoid doing that too much, since there are always so many movies (good, bad, improving, all) to check out. But when a movie is frequently discussed in comments, such as Wrought, it's important to take a day and remind the population at large of what all the fuss is about.
The machinima was by Legs and Cranius, while the movie itself is by the band Peratus. Not only is the music compelling and interesting, but it complements the amazing skill that went into the machinima. Both the music and the video could stand alone on its own merits, and there really is a synergy created when the two elements are brought together. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an email at machinima@wow.com.
Great movie, music - regardless that's not my type - really fits that climate. Much better than whole "Blood Elf rap" thing. BTW I would like to see any WoW Machinima like this, but with some classics of rock/metal - maybe Guns n' Roses, Black Sabbath, AC/DC (Thunderstruck with some shamans would be great ;])
This is still one of the best machinimas I've ever seen, and gives me a lump in my throat almost as big as the one I get watching Cranius' "Darrowshire" video.
To my eyes and taste, Darrowshire remains the best piece of WoW machinima ever created. Others are excellent, but Darrowshire just hit everything correctly, from a haunting tune to a visit of an all too quickly avoided Vanilla questline.
See, I feel bad for the male Blood Elves that the undead kills. Here they are stopping a slutty female Belf from turning traitor and helping out the Alliance, and they get killed by an Undead too bitter to accept the truth that he's now Horde.

This movie has a great song and uses WoW to visualize it.
Darrowshire told a great WoW story and used a song to recap it.
They're really two sides of the same coin.

@Hih
Sorry, but there is NEVER an excuse to hit a romantic partner or trap her in a tower, whether she's "slutty" or not.
And giving him a kiss is HARDLY "helping out the Alliance."

That was very good indeed.

Classic female mentality... She loves the guy until he's dead, then all of a sudden he's not good enough anymore. Same thing happened to my cousin.

Its probably because she didn't like the size of his "bone"
Qot Aug 12th 2010 4:39PM
"Til death do we part" only applies if you're married. Otherwise, it's forever.

A personal favorite.

I agree. Also, nice name :)

This is, by far, the best machinima I have ever seen! Well scripted and well done! EXCELLENT!

One of Cranius' and Legs' best.

Apparently that Blood Elf was too low of a level to just resurrect him.
