Not much else to say here, folks -- here's your new login screen music in Cataclysm. Twelve minutes of pure epic, with themes from vanilla and every expansion afterward. Lots of references to the original login music starting at 1:30.
0:00 - Really? Come on. I don't want to hear the beginning of this every time I log in for the next year or so. Very ear-grating. It needs something more like 1:15 or 1:30.
1:30 - Ok, muuuuch better. Liking this music more now.
1:55 - Gotta have the choir. Much more epic!
2:35 - Oh hai there WoLK music.
3:00 - ....because we won't be hearing the Stormwind music enough?
3:30 to 5:30 - a little too calm for a cataclysmic event. ;)
5:40 - Here we go! Woo!
6:15 - This sounds familiar. xD
7:00 - LOVE. Lovelovelove. :3
All in all, I think I agree with everyone else - GREAT music, but the beginning needs serious work.
This is recorded so beautifully. I would of loved to have been there. It's nice hearing theme's in the music, similar to the dischords Jaws and that kind of thing. And yay for choir song! Bravo!
I've have to say that this is THE BEST music that I have ever heard, and has a trumpeter I have heard many pieces. The fact that Blizzard added enough music from the previous expansions with out overpowering the main piece sends shivers down my spine. When I heard Heroes of Azeroth I was emotionally touched, but when I heard the chord to Invisible I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Thank You Blizzard for this wonderful piece of music.
5:30 Goblin music from the trailer, leading to those big horns, absolutely tremendous. I keep imagining the trailer voiceover in my head when I hear that, saying "The Goblins have found new allies...in the HORDE!"
7:00 Was in the death of Arthas cinematic...I cannot listen to this enough, it is simply beautiful...
8:36 an ancient ally resurfaces, to bring the savage Worgen...into the Alliance! I am hoping this forms part of the Gilneas zone music because the arrangement here of the the horns and woodwind section is just mind blowing..
Can't wait for Cata for sure. Shaping up to be great. Hopefully I'm actually able to play by time it is released. Haven't had the money recently :( A sad, boring situation to be in. lol
At least during the first week of near-constant downtime we'll have this to listen to while we wait.
A major step up from before. I love how it slows down and becomes more flowing around 4:00, the beginning also really sets the tone. And 10:00 on gives it a very nice finale that draws you back into the fact you're playing the hero of the story.

Damn ... its pretty epic, but honestly wish it started off a bit less so and built up to it.
The biggest concern I have is that we are going to see another damn dragon roaring at us every 30 seconds. God that is the most annoying thing ever.
