Oh my, he's aged quite a bit. Leading the Horde is no picnic, i guess...

He's dealt with Garrosh in one expansion and it's like he aged 10-20 years, I'm already feeling sorry for the Horde.

I don't know what you're talking about. He still looks like a rather young orc to me. Maybe in his 30s, but far from old. Wasn't he only the human equivalent of 18 when he took over leadership of the Horde, after all? That would make placing him in his 30s (or the equivalent) pretty much on the ball.

I'm sure the blood elves have some kind of a day spa that Thrall could get to know.

I'm not quite sure how the timeline goes but as far as i can tell Thrall is in his thirties. Most Orcs do not live past 80 years according to RPG books lifespans, so he's about middle-aged for an orc now.

exactly my thoughts !
I looked around and found he is around his 30ish ?
so either orcs live in dog years or all those wars did take a toll on him, poor thrall :(

His braids seem... reddish-brown rather than greying black. I'm not a fan of that. as to the grey beard, I think it'd look more realistic and moreTthrall-like if it was a salt-and-pepper one, with some really white hairs mixed in with still black ones, and that it just looks odd being this evenly grey.
On the whole, however, I'm glad Thrall isn't hitting the "Just for Orcs".
However, it makes sense that he looks older. RL example: look at any recent US president who went into office with dark hair, and how they looked when they came out. Bush and Clinton were basically white-haired leaving office, and eight years isn't that long a time. You can even see the grey creeping into Obama's hair right now, depending on the angle, etc.

Thrall was born shortly after the Dark portal was created. Making him roughly 33 years old.
Garrosh was already atleast 15 by then, making him already quite old (48).
And there are accounts of some orcs living waaay beyond a hundred years, say Nerzhul. But in general - the lifespan of an orc is roughly up to 70-80 years.

I don't think he looks older so much as... tired, like he's shouldered a burden far too heavy for far too long...
