Around Azeroth Beta Edition: Therewolves

I'm not sure whether it's just the vagaries of beta, the (now-fixed) disabling of new worgen character creation or if the Horde is just more popular, but we've received about ten goblin screenshots for every worgen one from Cataclysm. But Kittens of <The Den> on Earthen Ring (EU-A) managed to snag a good action shot of a wolf-person in combat with a dead-person. If only there were some sort of annoying, inescapable teenage cultural phenomenon, or possibly an excellent premium cable show, that featured a similar conflict!

Well, doesn't suck for merely existing, let me put it that way.

And it looks like the Worgen is tossing a fireball, pretty sure the wolves of, uh, that thing can't do that.

Well, i think more people play goblins atm because all of the customization features of the worgen are disabled.. Im in the beta, and i know i don't want to spend too much time on a new worgen toon only to have to restart when they finally get the new facial features and such up and running. All of the worgen looking exactly the same really diminishes the experience of the worgen :/

Especially since after last patch, all worgen ears are missing and we walk around with holes in our heads, and they implemented some sort of disgusting sniffing/snorting idle sound that plays EVERY time you move your worgen D:
I was excited about taking my worgen to Badlands after it had opened up this week, but had to quit playing after ten minutes because the constant worgen snort was just too annoying (and I really dislike playing with all sounds off).

That said, I loved the worgen starting zone more than the goblin one :)

That truly sucks. If that's the case then I will be a sad puppy. I have been putting off adding a druid to my collection since they announced Worgen would be the new race with druids. I also need to play with sounds on. The sniffing would maybe even be more annoying than the constant Tauren scratching. Could always make a day-glow Troll druid :) Decisions...
