No arguments about these 2. I've done Wrathgate 4 times on my Alliance toons, and just did it for the first time this week on a Horde toon. Definately feel like you need a long shower after dealing with it from the Horde side. I agree that the Alliance side is better leading up to Wrathgate. However, I found that the Allainace battle to be easier to follow, and I liked the Alliance battle better. It's not that there's not plenty of epicness to be found horde-side, but the battle flows better on Alliance side then it does for the Horde. So, Alliance wins for Wrathgate and the battle, IMHO. However, I agree, the Horde side packs far more of an emotional impact with the aftermath portion. Thrall and Saurfang sitting side-by-side, both devastated by events is pretty damn good.
