Actually, the first three paragraphs sounded a lot like Capitalism to me, which is pretty much like PvP with a lower body count. Usually.

It is pvp. It's just a lot longer, and a lot more drawn out.One more difference: This type of pvp can cost you gold. When you die in a pvp battleground/arena/duel/world pvp, your gear takes no loss of endurance.The one thing I'm wondering about this glyph wall is what I remember someone else saying. What would stop someone from just temporarily exiting the market, and then coming right back when the wall is broken? Seems like the only way to win, is not to play (kind of like global thermal nuclear war).
