Im kinda new to WoW, so Im not super informed about specs for PVP/E, but I'm leveling a warrior right now, and I'm specced in Fury currently, but I like PvP, it's just that Fury appeals to me more. Maybe I won't notice it at lower levels, but why exactly can't Fury excel at PvP?

Mortal Strike. An arms warrior's damage is effectively double in PvP because of the MS debuff. Furthermore, everyone else on the arms warrior's team for arenas, everyone else damaging the same target as the arms warrior in BG's and world PvP, their damage is doubled too.If arms can do 10k in a BG and fury 12, that fury is basically praying that his Furious Attacks ability will proc. The arms warrior KNOWS his will be up.

Little fun fact about warrior history. Mortal strike was a huge deal in vanilla, and its debuff has been applied to other classes since then for pvp purposes, (the debuff was given to fury in Wrath via furious strikes). GC has come out and said that it's been kind of a nightmare to balance around, and the MS debuff is getting hit with the nerf bat in Cata as the devs try to rebalance the classes. Arm's pvp abilities combined with warrior gear scaling make it very intimidating in higher level pvp, unfortunately, as sper a lot of strong pvp specs, it makes it pve damage go down in an effort to balance the spec. Something they're trying to fix in Cata.
