Cataclysm Beta: Archaeology achievements

It occurred to us here at WoW.com that we hadn't mentioned these lovely new achievements implemented for the archaeology profession. In addition to the standard "you have at least this many points" achievements, there are also three achievements with a bit more flavor to them.
- I Had It in My Hand, which grants the player the illustrious title of Assistant Professor, is rewarded for finding a rare artifact.
- Seven Scepters is granted for recovering, well, seven scepters. As you can see above, two are named, the rest are not -- so your guess is as good as mine.
- The Lost Thanes is one you earn by discovering the names of the Five Lost Dwarven Thanes, apparently by discovering items they once possessed.

Googling "Dah dun dun" probably won't get anything legible.

And when you find it, it also comes with a grey item, A Finger, with yellow flavor text that says "This must've once belonged to a gnome..."

Poor taste dude. You are why I am not in trade chat anymore.
Squirr3llywrath9 Aug 21st 2010 12:46PM
Haven't been in trade since that stupid [Dirge] spam that plagued BC. Are people really that immature now?
Al Aug 21st 2010 2:03PM
Now? No, it's been that way for a long while.
Vandersveldt Aug 21st 2010 3:34PM
Yes. I know this will get downranked. But whenever people start doing the anal jokes in trade, I always get them to stop with:
Them: Anal [linking things that don't even grammatically make sense, let alone have any humor
Me: Dude, there's only one funny anal joke.
Them: What is it?
Me: I'll only tell you if you admit it's the only funny one, and knock it off.
Them: If it's funny, sure
Me: Anal [Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?]

Yes I'm sure that 'always gets them to stop'
Helasmoth Aug 21st 2010 12:14PM
They need a Fedora that will increase your chances of finding artifacts and a quest called "Why'd it have to be sankes?"
