Scattered Shots: New hunter pet skins in Cataclysm beta

While the pet design pass has not yet been done for hunters in the beta, we do have a handful of new pets in the game, as well as new skins for old pet families. Also, our fox pet is no longer in the wolf family -- it's in the new fox family now! Monkeys also get their own family.
This video will give you a look at a handful of the more impressive new pet skins in the beta. If you want a complete list of changes, Mania is keeping up to date with every pet change over at Petopia. Be sure to watch to the end of the video -- the most impressive pet ever is saved for last!
[Update: in the last beta build (after this video was made) that last pet was indeed fixed.]

That "new" bear model looks like the diseased bears from Felwood and Western Plaguelands.

Yes but this bear comes with pus oozing from it's butt....Thats new...Right?

It's actually a new colouration of the diseased bear model, though it's not an obvious one. Before we had Black, Brownish-Red, and then White (in Northrend). This one is almost a gray colour. It's hard to tell unless you compare all of them side-by-side, but it *is* a brand new skin. :)

Heck, there's a level 16 version in the Draenei starting zone - my space goat ran with that cuddly guy until Tanaris. :P

Models in general look sharp especially the carrion and serpent
