The Queue: Electronic books? Well, I never!

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW.com's daily Q&A column in which the WoW.com team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

I want to get an ebook reader. The new Kindle looks great, but they're sold out until some nebulous date in September. Until then, I'll be carrying around a clipboard and tapping on it while talking like Capt. Picard.

Zebrina asked:

What will happen to the AQ bug mounts? Will they work outside AQ now? I can see them working in the new sandy zones. My poor bug needs to get some use; it's very lonely these days.

Blizzard recently stated that it has no plans to make the silithid mounts usable outside of Ahn'Qiraj.

Jonathan asked:

What will happen to the DK's starting zone now that Arthas is dead?

Nothing. It takes place in the past and always has.

squig_masta asked:

Here's a question that's been bugging me. We know the inscription profession is going to be reworked and that virtually every existing glyph will not exist in its current form (if it exists at all), but do we know anything about what's going to happen with our existing recipes if you are a scribe? Will there be a one:one conversion ratio, or will we have to relearn new some recipes? I doubt they're that far along in the beta, but it'd be good to know if I should bother learning inscriptions now or wait till the overhaul.

You'll still be able to make glyphs, but they're one-time use items that permanently add the ability to use that glyph to the player's spellbook. Any glyphs you have in your bags are automatically learned and in your spellbook in the Cataclysm beta.

Scribes are getting a bunch of other really interesting things, such as Adventurer's Journals, which give XP boosts, or Fortune Cards, which grant you a piece of vendor trash worth anywhere from 10 silver to 5,000 gold.

Ryu3010 asked:

I know they said Winterspring hadn't recieved any changes ... but what about Un'Goro? I haven't heard anything about that area, either.

Un'Goro received a questing overhaul, and with it, one of the best new NPCs in Cataclysm: Maximillian of Northshire. If you like Don Quixote, you'll love Maximillian.

I just hope you weren't too attached to Marshal's Refuge. Or Linken.
