Why not click ahead and find out, dear readers?

i still can't believe you're cutting the story off at this point (extended epilogue or not).
all of the characters are lovable and you've got good plot and humor to go with it.
why finish it now?

an abrupt ending to a story that has only just begun. One that took longer to build up than it did to end (seemingly). I sense a conflict somewhere.
Zoots Aug 24th 2010 10:57PM
I sense conflict as well. The comic DOES feel like it's being ended rather forcefully. I dunno, maybe the fact people were taking the side of the Gnome? Was that something the author intended? Maybe she felt like she didn't want to continue the comic if people started to dislike the actions of the main characters? I suppose only the author knows for certain, and I could be totally offbase.

Please tell me that this is not the end of the legend of Byron. Please Kelly.. tell us
"This is not the end
more adventures are to come
Tune in next week, same Rogue time..
Same rogue channel"

It says right in the post that there's at least one more.
"... and tune in next Tuesday morning for a new page."

Definitely Combat.
Zanaji Aug 24th 2010 1:11PM
Nice touch on the dual-wield knife and fork though :P
Argonne Aug 24th 2010 1:16PM
It's the more etiquette-friendly from of Cannibalize.
Kajira Aug 24th 2010 1:11PM
Rogues vanish, folks. It's what we do. You're not supposed to know the rest of the story.
Hob Aug 24th 2010 1:20PM
Nicely done. :) It's been a lot of fun keeping up with Byron.
So....
Any chance we'll see a web-comic someday about a Gnome Paladin?
Tokkar Aug 24th 2010 9:50PM
It already exists - well, she's not the main character, but still...check out Beyond the Tree over on the Sunday Morning Funnies list.
Hob Aug 25th 2010 1:31PM
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out!
Veloxe Aug 24th 2010 2:10PM
More proof that band-aids heal all wounds.
EaterOfBirds Aug 24th 2010 2:36PM
if orc females looked more like drawn here there'd be more of them ^ ^

I personally liked this as a short story instead of a serialized comic, so I might prefer if the end really is the end. Looking forward to the final page(s). Glad I finally decided to start reading this a couple weeks ago.
Dreyja Aug 24th 2010 4:33PM
Lol, I only just noticed that Derrick goes into the fight with his dagger and... a fork. /shudder X-p
Good ol' Forsaken.
Somehow I don't think that Byron is really okay with the rogue, "way."
halophoenix Aug 24th 2010 6:59PM
Yeah, I loved that too. :D Good old cannibalize!
Dreyja Aug 24th 2010 7:14PM
Well... when I say: "Good 'ol..." generally I mean that I can rely on them to disgust me. :) But I've come to treasure that reliability. XD The fork was a very funny touch on Kelly's part.
Natsumi Aug 24th 2010 8:12PM
We should petition Blizzard to make a dagger that looks like a fork into the game :D
