Oh for the love of tacos, you just had to put up the new episode when I have to be leaving for work in about 20 minutes. Maybe if I hurry I can finish getting ready to leave quick enough to have time to put it on my mp3 player.
Dan Aug 25th 2010 5:18PM
So why'd you waste 10 of those 20 minutes posting about it then wondering about your double-post? Priorities!
Oni Stardust Aug 26th 2010 4:10AM
10 minutes for that? I wasn't timing it, of course, but that sounds a little too long.
In any case, my computer started freezing up and I wasn't able to get it, so I had the pleasure of going through my full 10 hour shift knowing a new episode was out and I couldn't listen to it.
About to listen to it now. I was going to stay up to watch The Venture Brothers anyway, might as well listen to the show instead of watching Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen reruns.

Now how'd that happen? I only pushed the button once. Oh well, I don't have time to worry about it.

Thanks for your wonderful work here since the beginning Ms. Harper (Haven't listened to the show yet obviously) and wish you best of luck whereever the wind and luck take you. someone's going to have some big shoes to fill and good luck to them as well. Lots of people read this site and whiles its going to change i hope that it wont be changing all that much although if it became an official WoW fan site that would be cool i think.

Best line from the podcast goes to the add-on master:
"You've been 110% nice to me"
Sacco: "you can't be 110% of anythi-
"SHUT THE HELL UP SACCO!!
WINNER.....MCCURLEY!
Adam Holisky Aug 25th 2010 4:59PM
Oops... Forgot to take that one out ;-)
Randy Aug 25th 2010 5:25PM
Thank you Adam for not taking it out :) It was great. Though I worry when our resident Talbuk left Blizzard it was because of his diabolical plot to take over wow.com.....I mean Mike leaves and he jumps to Senior Editor....now Liz is leaving....please nerf his diabolical scheme and ensure he doesn't become Editor in Chief!!!
Sacco, I think you rock....just havin fun here.

As a player from Down Under, I can address the question about Oceanic servers;
They're hosted in Los Angeles. Your data has to go across the Pacific Ocean and back. On Caelestrasz (an Oceanic realm) I get about 260 ms latency; on Zangarmarsh (a US realm) I get about 350. Either is fairly livable, but your mileage may vary depending upon your internet connection.
Smutty Smurf Aug 26th 2010 10:47PM
New Zealand player here playing on an US Oceanic Server.
Using wowtunnels I'm getting 190-240ms in Dal.
not great but definitely playable.
I do cry tho when Americans cry about their horrible 80ms lag.
