Does this mean that we will need to go back to these instances to complete acquire these legendaries after the implementation of guild achievements? If yes, I'm assuming this is a way for Blizzard to keep people going to the old raid instances to keep them from falling by the wayside.

We are making a exception for this guild achievement. Any legendary items you have already earned will count.

I'm currently working on Thunderfury on my pally (just need one binding and Rag downed, which I'm doing this Sunday, so then it's just luck) so I'm happy about this change. I'm not sure what's going to happen to these legendaries post-Cata so I want to get it now before something happens. I wish Atiesh was still available from scratch, for my druid, though.

please tell me how do you schedule the other binding to drop! been trying to get the second one for months!

I'm a Prot pally so I pretty much just solo Baron (the one I need) once a week. The lockout is a week long so I need to wait every week, but I decided to schedule a guild run of MC to kill Rag since I need him, and I can't solo him. Also, a lot of people were saying they'd like to clear MC.
And I don't schedule it lol I might be at it for a few months or a year who knows but the drop rate isn't that bad (4%) so I doubt it'll take that long. It's not like the ZG raptor I have that took me 2-3months on every lockout (3-day lockout there) to get it.

Hopefully he is on his yacht (or the Blizzard company yacht) as the quality of his posts seem to have gone down. I can't count the number of times he's used strawmen and other logical fallacies to defend problems in the Beta. I know his job must be frustrating at times, so he should take the time to walk away and take a break.

Actually the lack of Hunter QQ is refreshing. Add onto that the lack of Paladin QQ about not being able to fill every GCD and it's shaping up to be a fairly good day. :)
