NSFW Warning: The refrain of the song includes the F-bomb, a bit of other cursing, as well as scantily clad pixels dancing.
In a PUG is one of Propostris's most popular pieces. It's scored over 100,000 page views since it was released in June 2009. As a parody of In da Club by 50 Cent, In a PUG attempts to recreate what Rolling Stone called "a spare yet irresistible synth hook augmented by a tongue-twisting refrain."
Propostris has been featured before with Ice Ice Baby. It's always great to see people continue creating new works, so I'll be curious to see how readers feel about this more seasoned piece. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an email at machinima@wow.com.
Works by artists like Cranius & Legs, for example, are so much more impressive. They don't depend on attention-getting crude language... but that's a feature of the genre, I guess.

First they get hooked on the health pots, next thing you know they're out flasking up. Then it's all down hill. Pretty soon they're tanking pugs for that healthstone.
Not really my style, but a decent effort. A few things I wish were different about the video: 1. I wish he'd taken more time with writing his lyrics since he decided to include them. There were a lot of typos. :( 2. I wish those lyrics were in a smaller font. They take up quite a bit of the screen and are often in front of light backgrounds, making them difficult to read even with their enlarged font. 3. Maybe it's just me, but parts of it didn't make sense. They rhymed and the lyrics fit in with the original song, but they mostly seemed disjointed. Some of it was about a PUG, but then there was something about Darnassus and the Auction House. It just didn't flow for me.
Of all the masturbatory attempts to throw together a machinima piece...
On the plus side, I suppose the text was so large that it blotted out the lame imagery. Then again, nothing says All Ages Game like liberal applications of "mothaf**ka" and drug references.
I have to actually agree: I'd take Belf Rap over this tripe any day, and I'd rather try to slit my wrists with a spork than listen to more Belf Rap.

Attention-getting crude language?
Someone better tell Ceelo to cut it out...although, 3 million page hits in one week? Hmm, might want to rethink that strategy:

It must be good, because I detest it as much as I detest regular rap.

FINALLY! Something you and I agree whole-heartedly on! :-)

Oh great, another WoW Rap Machinima with Elves...
I am now effectively full of bitter hatred for the rest of humanity, thanks MovieWatch.

If a wow machine that features one particular race causes you to hate all of humanity, it sounds like you have some bigger issues than wow machinima

Yes, because where else will young people learn about drugs if not from wow.com's movie watch segment?

Ladies and gentlemen, another polished turd.
I hate rap.
Also, I hate his selection of what he thinks is metal on his channel page.
Michael Aug 27th 2010 12:45PM
Wow, I actually prefer "belf" rap. Did we really, really need this? Someone please think of the children.
Natsumi Aug 27th 2010 12:52PM
No, but he is a poser IRL.
Mortuus Aug 27th 2010 12:54PM
This is exactly the kind of person I would slap into my ignore list without a second thought.
