I used to play the original Star Trek CCG from Decipher, and have been doing my best to try not to get into the WoW one, as i KNOW how addictive and fun it can be.BUT..." plenty of people who buy the cards but never learn how to play. Why is that?" I can easily explain that. And it's not just for the in-game loot cards. When i played ST:CCG I only had one friend that played, so i wouldn't get to play very often. I still bought the cards very often and made up decks with it and such. Why? I'm a collector. Pure and simple, i wanted to try to get the whole set. ST:CCG is all but dead now, but it doesn't stop me from looking for old cards and sets anytime i see them, for completionists sake. :) While the aim of the game may be to play it, that's not by far the ONLY reason to collect it.
