Paralysis isn't a stun, it's a snare. It roots a target in place, but the target is still able to attack from that spot. I haven't found much use for it outside of solo or pvp. =/

I actually reported it as a bug because I thought it was supposed to be a stun based on the wording in the tooltip. I guess the wording is wrong and it's "working as intended."

thinking about this ability, it could be a little problematic, in the same way mages can sometimes cause problems when they freeze mobs. an immobile mob will attack following aggro, but only on those targets in range. if the tank is out of range but the healer isn't, the immobile mob will attack them, or a dps on the threat list, or so forth. now, i won't be sure that this will be a problem until it is into practice, but talenting into freeze-on-slow for frost mages and (esp. w/r/t blizzard) can cause problems and is discouraged, it could be that this talent will suffer the same fate for PvE.
