At first I was worried about the extra haste, after all, in Wrath too much haste leads to wasted time in between mind blasts. But then I got thinking, if we manage to get enough haste, (approximately 30%, yes I know that's a lofty goal, but we get almost 10 just from being a priest) then we'll have time to cast a Mind Spike, or Shadow Word: Death. This is exactly what I wanted from Cataclysm, the Spriest rotation to change to something less repetitive and more reactive.
Though a downside I just can't shake is the shadowy appartion. Sure it LOOKS cool, but when you break down the numbers its really not all that great.
At max rank, theres a 6% chance to proc 15% of Mind Blast damage every ~3 seconds. This works our to about a 1/50 chance (while standing still.) Assuming a Mind Blast damage of 10k (for easy maths sake) this works out to a dps of only 30.
Sure you can move to increase the proc rate and the dps to 300 but then you have to lose a mind flay for just the chance of a proc, and if your mind blast is doing 10k then thats definitely more.
Yes it's nice to have a novelty talent, but in a tree that is already limited by being both the PvE and PvP dps tree for a class, we need every useful talent we can get.

Its not meant to be outstanding when you're standing still.

I foresee a new mod showing you EXACTLY when your SW:P is going to tick and people taking a step right that instant before going back to their rotation. If you could, for example, get in two mind flays, take a step, repeat, and exploit that 60% proc rate....
Man this is gonna be worse than ret pally seal twisting in BC, or rogue weapon switching before the deadly poison buff.

Unless it is limited by ppm and the travel speed is fixed, get ready for the SW:P-spamming melee jitterbug SPreist.
1. Toss SW:P on everything! (unless limited by ppm, this increases procs)
2. Get as close as possible to targets! (less travel time = faster deeps)
3. Jitterbug! (mash those move keys whenever you can)
4. Profit! (more leet deeps)
I think a mechanic encouraging SPriests to dance in mobs' faces and to spam SW:P on anything in sight isn't the best of ideas.
