If so, some guilds are well on their way already :D

no, they've stated that they're going to restart the count once cataclysm starts. So even if you have every legendary item available in the game in your guild right now, you'll have to get it again once cataclysm comes out. it's going to be pretty annoying for those who got Shadowmourne.

Nah, the We Are Legendary achievement is the exception here.

"We are making a exception for this guild achievement. Any legendary items you have already earned will count. "

actually the legendary ones are the only ones that a blue has said will be retroactive.
