What about the Thrash Blade? I know warriors/pallies used it too sometimes, but you couldn't ask for a better quest reward as a leveling combat rogue. With that and sword spec, on the old extra-hit mechanics, you could chain huge strings of hits all together in an instant. I remember killing an MC geared warrior in my mid 50's in the span of 3 GCD's and something like 17 free proc'd attacks.
