Around Azeroth Beta Edition: Blue troll group
Patches come and go, but World of Warcraft's capacity to screw itself up in unique and interesting ways never changes. Beta tester Robert discovered a group of multiplying troll models, or possibly a Darkspear ice carving contest. It seems like an easy way to make a raid group until you reach the guys on the far end, who look like they're auditioning for the latest season of So You Think Anyone Cares About Dancing Anymore.

WoW has been known to produce trolls of every variety.

Ive always wondered why pretty much every other of troll race is relatively beefy while the player trolls(ie darkspear) are a bit on the scrawny side.
iscalio Sep 12th 2010 10:35AM
That is incorrect. All jungle and sand trolls are "scrawny", while the forest and frost trolls are "beefy" (to use your terms) - the Darkspear (who are jungle trolls) are thus not alone with their particular build.

@iscalio What exactly is the difference between jungle and forest?
gandar54 Sep 12th 2010 10:56AM
@Iscalio Jungle Trolls live in the jungle whilst Forest Trolls live in the forest. But on a more serious note, jungles are usually wetter, more southern, and warmer than forests. I don't have a jungle in my backyard, I have a forest.

Forest trolls are Amani trolls who live in the northern forests (modern Ghostlands). Jungle trolls are Darkspear and Gurubashi trolls who lived in Stranglethorn Vale originally, but have since scattered.

Why would a Darkspear ice carving contest have only forest trolls as participants?
Tomatketchup Sep 12th 2010 11:22AM
The Darkspear trolls are too hot for an ice contest, while forest trolls think they're cool if they participate.
