Welp, there goes my idea of having it be a Christmas present. Happy Day of the Dead, anyone?

You should never expect Blizzard to release a Game/Expansion/Major Patch during a major holiday like Christmas. They don't want people to have to choose between their families or real life duties and playing new content. Also, I'm sure Blizzard employees don't want to be stuck at work fixing expansion/patch bugs during Christmas.Remember that they even delayed the second wing of ICC opening so that it wouldn't coincide with Christmas.
