WoW Moviewatch: How to Tell if Your Guild is Bad
Whether or not you agree with Wowcrendor's assessment, I'm pretty sure this video should be required viewing before every raid.

pshh, we ALL know that when a bad raider dies in the fire, it's the healer's fault.
Heather Sep 14th 2010 12:04PM
This made my day. So, so true.

It's interesting that after the "get out of the glowy stuff" advice for years, with Druid's new Efflorescence, they want you to actually stand in some glowy stuff.
MightyMuffin Sep 14th 2010 1:30PM
I think Shaman's Healing Rain will get more attention in that sense than Druid's Efflorescence.
Powatodapeople Sep 14th 2010 4:19PM
well now they will expect healers to cover the bad stuff with good stuff, so that they won't have to move the 3 feet to the left

I have had sooo many people on the PTR flee from my Efflorescence because of it being a ground graphic, I've actually had to macro /yell "stand in the green healy graphics" :( But on the positive side at least I know that bad raiders will stand in it since they will stand in anything.

I know what you mean. I did a few heroics to test out the new talents on my druid, the tank kept avoiding the ground graphic. By the end of the heroic, the tank said "Is that new? That poison-stuff on the ground?" and I had to tell him what it was. xD
Ahh, it's gonna take my guild a while to figure out to stand in the pretty glowy green circle. And I can only hope Blizz doesn't make an encounter with the -exact- same graphic.

:D
A simple, yet elegant, test.

Funny video with good execution, but I too have a dislike of this trend of using the word "bad."
First time I ever heard it was in AV when some person was arguing in /bg with another player. This guy sounded like a complete idiot and eventually broke down to repeating, "ur bad," over and over again.
I literally thought I was reading something written by an elementary school kid because I couldn't think of any logical reason for someone to use such stupid sounding vocabulary as their entire argument.

Would you rather people said you're horrible?
Or your level of awesomness is 6 feets under.
Or your capacity to do this very simple thing is non-existant.
When someone's bad, he's bad, period.
(cutaia) Sep 14th 2010 1:08PM
Would I rather people talk like normal human beings with the ability to formulate intelligent thoughts instead of just parroting the same old moronic slang over and over again? Uh, actually yeah.
See...even though you seem to disagree with me, at least your comment makes you sound like you have a working brain. You could have just as easily boiled your entire thought into some other idiotic meme like "lolumadbro?" Except one of these versions would have killed my faith in humanity just a tiny bit more.

I agree with you, (cutaia). And what I dislike even more is when someone uses the word "bad" twice in one saying. For example: "Bad hunter is bad." It just makes the person saying sound so ignorant.
@Elmouth:
While those sayings aren't any better, insults are more meaningful with better spelling and grammar. It's never nice to insult someone, but sounding like an 8 year old will make you look just as stupid.
