Looks like a good time to buy your pri saronite.

Question about HONOR points. If I already have 75,000 honor points, will I get nothing from the Spirit Shards and stuff when the conversion goes into effect?I'm already Honor-capped with nothing to buy with it. Am I going to lose all those Shard and WG Marks I worked to get? Or will I get something else like gold for them?

I do not understand your rationale.Converting Frost Emblems to Primordials (I can only assume to AH them) may be a greater loss than allowing them to convert to Justice Points considering the rate of inflation from Vanilla to BC and then to WotLK. We'll have no idea until we find out how many Justice Points it takes to buy something useful in Cataclysm.Buying Primordials outright (with gold) makes even less sense unless you are buying gear you will actually be using, as demand for Primordials should only fall at this point as interest in raiding ICC declines - there are only so many times I can run the same raid, after all - demand for items that require Primordials wanes, and ultimately Primordial Saronite becomes obsolete with the release of Cataclysm.More confusing is that Emblems of Triumph and Frost will convert to Justice Points at the same rate; surely Emblems of Frost should be worth more than Triumph? This logic suggests it is more efficient to farm Heroics than to run current raid content in preparation for Cataclysm. At this point the best advice is probably to clear out any items that are primarily for current WotLK raiding content - Primordials, Eternals, etc. - in preparation for the expansion, and wait and see (and hope) if the conversion rates get tweaked.

@Nether If you are still pvping you should be buying gems with that extra honor and selling them on the AH. But to answer your question anything over the honor cap will still be received. However if you are still over the cap when Cata launches then all that extra honor will be converted into gold.

@Netherscourge: You must have missed:"Your New Honor Points total will be the sum of the following amounts:* Old Honor * 0.024* Old Arena Points * 0.85* Battleground Mark of Honor * 2.976* Wintergrasp Mark of Honor * 19.08* Stone Keeper Shard * 1.6* Venture Coin * 3* Spirit Shard * 1"and"Again, the softcap for ...Honor ...conversions is 4000 points. This means that if a character converts to above 4,000 points, it will not be possible for them to earn more until they fall below the 4,000 cap."and"A hardcap will be implemented in a following patch before Cataclysm's release. At that time, any excess points above 4,000 will be converted as follows:* Honor points above 4,000 are converted to gold at a rate of 35 silver per point of Honor."So if you're at 75k Honor now, that gives you 1800 new Honor, plus any converted Honor from Arena Points, BG/WG Marks, SKS, Venture Coins, and Spirit Shards at the rates listed above. If for whatever reason you end up at more than 4000 new Honor points (75k current Honor isn't anywhere near enough for that), you'll keep all converted honor, and be unable to earn more. Then, just before Cataclysm, any new Honor you still have over 4k will be converted to gp at 35 silver per point.
