Fox, in actuality, I believe the current reforging paradigm allows only secondary stats to be reforged. For instance, you wouldn't be able to reforge your spirit into crit, but you COULD reforge hit into crit. Stats such as spirit and intellect won't be reforgeable.

i think spirit is going to be one of said secondary stats so it should be fine, but i may be totally wrong there.

I reforged that same staff just last night. Spirit is definitely secondary.

Yeah, primary stats are the ones guaranteed to be on every piece of gear itemized for your role: stamina, strength, intellect, and agility. Or, alternately, the ones boosted by Blessing of Kings/Mark of the Wild.
