There's one thing that has me excited about Cataclysm, and that's goblins. So getting to see Goblins: How You Like Me Now? was like a dose of pure joy shot up my spine with the power of a thundering herd of elephants. Not only do I love those little green bastards, but JMSBuddha has really put together a great video to feature them.
Sure, worgen get to show off their Gilnean Like Me movie, but worgen don't have rocket cars. Or rocket sharks. Or rocket rockets. And they're not green. what this video points out at the beginning is what has me giggling over people complaining about worgens now. First everyone was like 'worgens rule! Goblins suck!" and now in the beta, with all the overhauling that is going on with the worgen, everyone's like 'goblins rule! worgens suck!" and I'm like /facepalm :P Neat vid, too ^^
I'm going to sue the author of this machinima for my incipient deafness as my ears shut down in protest (I'm not a fan of Gilnean Like Me, either). I'm looking forward to rolling a goblin and a worgen ... but this music isn't doing the goblins any favours.

No you are not. The music in the first part was lame and not fitting for such and awesome race. Actually not fitting for any of the wow races. The music in the second half was better but out of hundreds of thousands of tracks out there...Still good to see the goblins getting some facetime, but totally could have been better in my humble opinion.
Sadly I'm going to have to agree, the editing itself wasn't bad but both music choices were as far from 'goblin' as you could get. And I would have even accepted hip-hop here :S
And all this has done is pissed me off at how much Blizzard has, and continues to, shaft the gnomes on awesomeness. Clearly they have a grasp on how to make cool stuff for a technologically advanced race... and they've decided gnomes get none of it. Eff you, Blizzard.
Well, Goblins do have the advantage of being implemented with all the new tools already in play.
It would be cool to see a few more quests and things like this with the Gnomes, though. On the other hand, do you realize you're asking for lots more vehicle quests?
Gnomes totally need an overhaul on the male side as far as what you can make them look like. It is my belief they will get some upgrades in coolness IF blizzard gives them their own city (or even a shared neutral city with other engineers) and make it a mecca of engineering inventions :)
They added an entire new gnome starting area. All the same tools were available as when they made the goblin areas. Blizzard has just decided to make goblins more appealing and marketable.
