"If there is any bad habit at all that you need to break, it's clicking."I'm a very visual person, and as such find being able see my lesser used spells and click on them is far better suited for my style of play. For spells that I do use often, the number keys seem to work fine. Truth be known, knowing which spells to use in which situations tends to be my problem more than my reflexes.I tend to prefer to out-think my opponents more than I prefer to out-twitch them. I already know my reflexes are not top notch. I prefer battlegrounds instead of arenas, as I can at least think a little bit about strategy."I recommend keeping the tab key and space bar set to default -- tab selection and jump -- because of sheer convenience. "I actually set the tab key to the run toggle. Targeting can usually be done easily enough with the mouse (which is usually near the center of the screen anyways). I have issues with targeting the wrong enemies with the keyboard."Finally, there are the three modifiers, SHIFT, CTRL and ALT, that can be used in conjunction with other keys (blue) for more commands"In all honesty, I'd be pushing the limits of what I can remember quickly if I had to remember so many keys. I prefer to use bars for less needed spells instead.I also tend to play ranged classes instead of melee classes - there's not so much a demand for fast, twitchy actions with a ranged class.I guess we all have our own styles. However, you have given me some ideas . . . time to play around again with my setup.
