How does someone live a life wherein they become familiar with the concept of a meme, but doesn't recognize the answer '42' as a reference to Hitchhiker's???

Having your towel isn't the point and never was.
The important thing is merely to always know where your towel is ! That is the secret to being a frood. Though I will concede that always having it is a good way of ensuring you always know where it is.
