Cataclysm beginner tooltips option simplifies abilities for rookies

While most of these new tooltips have yet to be implemented, the few that have been provide a basic level of instruction aimed at new and younger players. For example, the tooltip for the druid tanking ability Growl normally reads, "Taunts the target to attack you, but has no effect if the target is already attacking you." With the beginner tooltips feature turned on, the tooltip suggests it be used to "protect friends with less health and armor than you."
Beginner tooltips frequently lack numbers and often suggest when you should use the ability; the tooltip for the holy priest ability Holy Fire tells you to "use (it) as an opener." Not sure how to DPS as a rogue? Have absolutely no idea how to play a shirtless holy paladin that was forced upon you by hundreds of faceless voters? These new tooltips will give you clues.
The beginner tooltips may also help address one of Blizzard's longer-standing problems -- convincing new players to stay with the game long enough to learn how to play it. As reported here back in February, only three in 10 trial accounts ever get past level 10.
We chose a few noteworthy beginner tooltips from a number of different classes and put them side by side with their Wrath-style versions for you in a gallery.

I think the point is that you shouldn't have to use those websites to learn how to play the game. All that information should be in the game.
Its the same w/ the UI changes they make so that you don't need addons to do things that should be in the game already.

it's more for the people who are knew and don't know how to play the class they've chosen but it's way too simplified imo they should at least give damage values and a better description than the one in the comments

I've often used this approach when explaining rogue abilities.
Attack: Stab a b****.
Backstab: Stab inna back.
Gouge: Stab inna face.
Sinister Strike: Stab harder.
Slice and Dice: Stab faster....

Am I the only one that thinks the normal growl tooltip is self-explanatory enough?

Beginners' tooltips that did not make it into Cataclysm.
Claw
Only use this ability to deal damage if you don't have Mangle (Cat) or Shred yet or if you really suck at the game.
Tranquilizing Shot
Dispels an Enrage and a Magic effect from your target. However, if you want to dispel faster and more frequently, can I suggest you play a Shaman or a Priest instead?
Feign Death
Pretend to be dead, giving a chance for enemies to stop targeting you. DO NOT USE WHILST CARRYING FLAGS.
Vanish
Vanish from sight, meaning that enemies will no longer be able to see you as long as there is no periodic damage on yourself to reveal you. On second thought, this ability has been bugged to &%$* since the Vanilla days. Good luck with using it because we're certainly not gonna fix it.

Aspect of the Beast
Heres a beginner tooltip for you. Use Aspect of the Hawk instead. This Aspect is entirely useless.
Arcane Blast
Cast this four times, and then use Arcane Barrage. Repeat and congratulations, you have topped the damage meters.
Strike
If you use this horribly weak ability in a rotation after you have placed a point in a talent tree at level 10 and recieving the superior Shield Slam, Bloodthirst or Mortal Strike, please go to your World of Warcraft folder and run the uninstallation program located there. (Basing this on how bad Strike is as a Warrior ability in the Cataclysm beta)
Aimed Shot
Good luck actually using this ability in Arena. /trollface
