I should clarify, the damage results would seem to agree with my playstyle, as I was able to catch onto the spec and spells much better than the other specs, and my DPS suffered greatly for it. In comparison, I couldn't beat 2.5k with premade Fury Warrior and Affliction Warlock, two other classes I've yet to level and competing with Mage.
