According to the feature at the top of the page, Deathy is a Blizzcon 2010 "exclusive" pet - but you start the article with "He's one of the new companion pets that will be joining us in Cataclysm"...?

He'll be joining in Cataclysm...just not on release, as it were.

Actually, Deathy is the Collector's Edition pet. As far as I know the BlizzCon special item, be it a pet, a mount, or something else, has not been announced yet.

@ tgrhwkeThe collector's edition pet is Lil' Deathwing, which is a whelpling. Deathy is the Blizzcon pet, and is a Deathwing-styled murloc.

ACTUALLY, Deathy IS the BlizzCon '10 pet.http://us.blizzard.com/blizzcon/The Collector's Edition pet will be a small drakeling, Lil' Deathwing.http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/cataclysm/features/collector.htmlThis is consistent with last year's BlizzCon - which rewarded viewers with Grunty, a baby Murloc Marine - as well as the collectors editions of Wrath of the Lich King (Frosty the Frostwyrm) and The Burning Crusade (Netherwhelp).

Li'l Deathwing is the baby drake skinned with Deathwing's model, and is the Collector's Edition pet.
