Cataclysm Beta: Racial changes in build 12984

Racial changesHuman
- Perception is gone.
- Cannibalize now also regenerates mana. (7% of total health and mana every 2 sec for 10 sec)
- Cultivation still increases your Herbalism skill by 15, but also lets you gather herbs faster than normal herbalists.
- Shortblade Specialization Expertise with Daggers and One-Handed Swords increased by 3.
Human Perception is gone? My poor dwarf will have extra reason to be Cannibalized? Gnomes becoming experts with daggers and one-handed swords? And the change no one could have seen coming, taurens can pick flowers faster? Anyway, enough with the amazement. What do you guys think of these changes to racials so far?

Since perception became a passive ability some long time ago, before which it was actually useful, I don't care if it goes away. Anyhow, I'm a prot paladin so rogues won't attack me anyway.

There are tauren who pick flowers with their hands? I always use my talons. Swift Herb Picking + Swift Flight Form FTW! :D

I'm probably going to get voted down for this but the Taurens are justifying the horde cutting down hundreds of trees because they want "To grow fields to graze on". This racial should go to the night elves. At least they have opposable thumbs!

Finally, the human OP extra racial is gone. This has been a long-awaited (and well-deserved) change.

Finally, perception is gone. It honestly never made any sense that an ability that great vision prowess was given to a race that, by the lore, almost has the worst eyesight out of all races in the game.

Perception does not mean great vision. Indeed, some extremely perceptive people had very poor vision or are indeed blind.

If memory serves, stealth "levels" were supposed to be going away, so the Perception racial would be meaningless anyway.
