Cataclysm Beta: Worgen female models

While I don't yet seem able to load one into the game for whatever reason, beta build 12984 has indeed allowed us to at least see the new female worgen models. And we have 'em! A lot of them, in fact. I tried to get every new skin color, hair style, ear configuration and face I could arrange for your viewing pleasure. Not being perfect, I probably missed a few, but it's still a fairly comprehensive photo set, all told.

Oh! This model looks much more savage, cruel, severe than the previous one. I very much approve!

I have to concur.
I understand why some would 'cuter, more adorable' version of the female but I prefer this feral version, including the 'crazy eyes'.
Why must the alliance only have 'hot' females? Did not anyone else think it was strange that ALIENS with horns were sexier than just about every other alliance female?
Its about time the alliance had a 'non cuddly' race. But having actual hair styles instead of mains really would take it to almost furry lvls, and it would have perpetuated the "All Alliance have to be good looking or cute" stereotype.
Plus as someone mentioned before, the type of thinking where your monster does not look like a monster is what got us: Sparkly Vampires. Sexy Witch Sisters(tm) with the power of three, Vampire Hunting Cheerleaders, and the She Hulk... never did understand the She-hulk... "Rawr I'm an angry green radioactive mutant with great hair and nails and a flair for style!"

The Horde has had to deal with a more realistic and savage appearance for its main races for five years.
So why is it the end of the world when the Alliance finally gets one? I thought this would be a good thing?

Disagree, big time.
The model doesn't look finished, the eyes are beyond terrible, the hair textures are as bad as Taurens :/ They look like they're in a wind-tunnel getting probed for god's sake.
I'm not usually one to rag on art but this is so just... beyond bad. Their face shouldn't go from *derp* to *hurrr* instead of from *coy but in control* to *fierce*.
Perma-snarl didn't work out very well for Tauren cat form, why do they think it's a good idea here. Just... ugh. The lack of bangs to blunt the face too?
I was impressed with the male redo. I am immensely disappointed with this one.

Agreed! These look feral and ferocious, not cute and cuddly. It's now going to be a really, really hard decision for me as to which to play, male or female, for the classes I want to roll worgen in.
Although... might have to remake my female human rogue as a worgen, if only for the joy of stealthing as the smaller human, then leaping out of the shadows as a worgen. Bwa ha ha ha ha...

I'm gonna go on a limb here and wish there was at least oen face that wasn't perma snarling. My picture of a baddass girl warrior is the kind that is smiling at you arrogantly while she cuts you to ribbons. But still, this won't stop me from making the most vicious yet cool looking bitch (as in female dog) I can >: D

I'm afraid I have to disagree on this one. I too, would like savage and ferocious rather than cute and cuddly. But that's not what we have here. What we have here is a Were-small-yippy-type-dog. It doesn't look savage. It doesn't look ferocious. It looks somewhere between a chihuahua that's just been told it can go "Outside", and a were-thing that just sat in something unpleasant and is just now realizing it.
An improvement, but far from a cigar. Fix the horrible wedged-open-with-a-crowbar eyes, and the weird side-snarl thing she's going on, and we'll call it good.
