While I don't yet seem able to load one into the game for whatever reason, beta build 12984 has indeed allowed us to at least see the new female worgen models. And we have 'em! A lot of them, in fact. I tried to get every new skin color, hair style, ear configuration and face I could arrange for your viewing pleasure. Not being perfect, I probably missed a few, but it's still a fairly comprehensive photo set, all told.

Yes, I do realise that the pics here look kind of chihuahua-ish, but seriously, that's...a poodle.
I think they shoul do more of a snarl like in that picture, though.

After all this time and money, this is the best their art dept can come up with? It looks like a were-chihuahua! What happened to their 'concentrated coolness' design philosophy? This's awful!
And why is it so freaking skinny? The skinniness doesn't make it look feminine; It makes it look like it has ringworm or something. Borderline undead skinny. I haven't been this disappointed in a female character model since I saw the original Tauren female model way back in alpha 2004. I could cope with the body, but that head has GOT to go.

I looked at these pictures and the first thing which came to mind was "be-YOOTIFUL!"
I love these new models. I think they've improved upon the early bases hugely. It looks much more lupine, and much more fierce, than the concept models. I know some people are going to hate me for saying this, but I actually like the permasnarl. I think that without it, the character would look less complete. I also don't really mind the pupilless eyes that much either - though the ear customisation is a bit on the extravagant side.
I'm not very happy with the lack of hair options, but hey, it's a wild mane of frizzy, untameable fur. What're you supposed to do, stick it in a braid? (Though the ties are kind of...odd, I think I can overlook them.)
Overall, 5/5 rating. I'm really very excited to get Cataclysm and start playing one of these babies. I've even ore-downloaded it so I won't have to brave Best Buy in order to get my hands on a copy. Also, I've read through the /silly jokes, and personally I think Worgen Females have some of the best ones in the game. Same for /flirt.
In my experience, it seems like you always either love this model or hate it. There will always be two groups who disagree on whether it should look "bestial" or "tame". There is always going to be someone who is going to complain and grumble and mutter about the ears or the eyes or the feet or the hair or SOMETHING. Me, I like it the way it is. Savage monsters all the way! Woohoo!
