The Daily Quest: Pros and cons

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest (which we try to do every day, honest) to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
Cro, pictured above, will likely care little for the Cataclysm -- largely because he is on a planet that will be unaffected by Deathwing's sudden emergence. No, Cro will continue to spend his days participating in what has by now become his daily routine, a litany of griping about that blasted fruit vendor and her annoying cart. There are plenty of people in the blogosphere with things to say about the upcoming changes, though -- what to expect and why we shouldn't panic:
- Righteous Defense talks about Build 12984 and the positive changes for paladins.
- Restokin has some highlights of Build 12984's changes for druids.
- World of Warcraft Philosophized chats about the absurdity of feat-of-strength panic.
- And Big Bear Butt wonders if you're worried about the changes to come.

I love that guy! Not the guy that has random shoe ads, I hate him, but the guy that yells in Shatt. I buy apples from him every time an alt goes through Shatt. :)

"HA! I CRUSHED AN APPLE, FRUIT VENDOR! THIS WILL NOT BE THE LAST!!"
So classic...

IF WAR IS WHAT YOU WANT, WAR IS WHAT YOU SHALL GET, FRUIT VENDOR!
I love that guy.

I feel sorry for Cro. He's sitting in Shattrath City, yelling at Granny Smith, and no one is around to hear him or see him.
He should have a quest or something where he gets to do something in the next expansion. Maybe to make him a warcart up full of apples.

I agree. Cro needs some attention. Perhaps some epic Wrathgate/undercity type thing in which he and granny have their monumental battle to the death!

I have his lines macro'd and yell them in Dal everytime i pass the fruit vendor there, especially while running in circles waiting for raids to form. I missed his rantings and decided if no NPC would rant in Dal, then i had a job to do.

Dal needs ranting. It's been missing there for a long time and I salute you for your humble service to the community.

Speaking of the Beta, the greatest thing ever just happened to me.
I was questing in Hyjal, killin' stuff, like ya' do, when suddenly, in mid-cast of moonfire, a loading screen 'aloaded. And when it finished, I was a confused moonkin underwater in the Twilight Highlands. I am still very confused.

Great article from Righteous Defense. The paladin changes feel a bit overwhelming.

Didn't wow.com write an awesome post on the matter of the mysterious battle between Cro and the Fruit Vendor? Apparently there is some dead guy on one of the floating islands in Nagrand which seems to have something to do with it... *eerie sound*
I wrote a summary on what healing might be like in Cataclysm:
