I couldn't imagine what life would be if my wife was so concerned about my activites that she'd use my 'last online' as a barometer for my daily comings and goings...

Drama's easy enough to deal with, kick those involved and pick up some competent adults. Only children and those who haven't progressed past puberty in terms of emotional maturity create drama.

Easy enough answer, even if it doesn't have a custom login stating that you're out and about; "Hai guise! I've got the mobile chat thingy nao, so I may not actually be here when I'm here. Coo'? Coo'."
