Around Azeroth: Hearts and bones
Is this what happens when you get a critical Frostbolt? Krior of Velen (US-H) writes, "I was zipping around on my faithful old windrider in Dragonblight when I dipped into a gorge and nearly fell off my mount with surprise. The gigantic dragon bones lying around that zone have always been one of my favorite parts of Northrend, but this just about takes the cake. I wonder how he got there?"

Same way Cavemen get frozen in icebergs.

Yup, likely he came there to die (Dragonblight is, after all, a gigantic dragon graveyard) and then his body became entombed in the growing ice.
It's weird though how much coherence these flesh- and muscle-less bones still have...

If so then there is potential for the contemporary caveman effect, where the dragon would thaw out centuries later and having them deal with the wonders of modern society.

@SunGod: Why do you think Sindragosa's so pissed?

Has anyone noticed/seen the enormous dragon (or something larger) skeleton that is underwater to the south of Dragonblight (just south and east of Emerald Dragonshrine)? It's HUGE!! As in larger than any other I've seen in Dragonblight or elsewhere in Azeroth/Outland.

PS you can see the head and part of the spine/ribs on the Dragonblight map even: http://www.wowwiki.com/File:WorldMap-Dragonblight.jpg

"I wonder how he got there?"
He left auto-run on and tabbed out of the game, whoops!

Looks more like a critical Deep Freeze, honestly.

The amount of detail that is overlooked and outright missed by people rushing onward to get to level cap (you know, the whole "the game begins at 80" crowd... /eyeroll) is the primary reason that I take my time just to explore things.
I am always finding things I've never seen before, even more with my hunter using eagle eye and some that are just the developers being geeks as there's really no other way of seeing them (for instance, there is a crashed gnomish bomber on the very, very top of the tallest spot of Mt. Hyjal - found this one by pure luck using the WoW Map Viewer utility when I was making Tales from the Crossroads one day and got bored, so went exploring...hehehe).
The sheer size of the world is awesome and there is so much to see that is missed. I honestly don't care if I ever raid ICC, I'm still having loads of fun in this wonderful game just finding things like these! :-)

I am going to give you a tip.
Get on the PTR. Make a premade Druid. Go to Northrend, or Outland. use Flight form, and return to Azeroth on a boat, or go thru the Dark Portal.
Do not land, anywhere.
You will be able to fly wherever you want. You can explore all the closed areas normally offlimits even to wallclimbers. True, you can view these areas on MapViewer, but it's different being on an actual server.
They might fix this bug any time. So do this as soon as possible.
