Any word on whether the new starting areas are fully phased and/or you have to be of the race to do all the quests? I'd like to get my new mage to the gnomish area first thing, to start building rep with the level 1 quests, but I've not heard if it's possible to do that in Cataclysm like it is today.

Good question. I hope all races can do them. That would save me time and energy from having to RP them :)
