Looks like they may be hedging their bets. Addon name has been edited out of the OP and the Blue post now says:

"Searching the Auction House for a deal is fine, using that information to undercut others is as well. What you must always be mindful of is... does what you are using automate actions?

If it is able to actually place the sales for you without you actively participating, yes, avoid using it."
