i think blizzcon tickets cost $140 = €104.5
jestergod Sep 29th 2010 5:33PM
tickets this year were $150.00. last year, they were $125.00, but you can most likely still find them on EBAY for just the ticket, minus the goodie bag, but not sure.

Last year it was a zoo... Couldn't find a bigger venue :-(
Dan O'Halloran Sep 22nd 2010 4:23PM
Same venue, but we got more space this time.

I have to wear a shirt? D:
thegatherer Sep 22nd 2010 4:24PM
yes, but they said nothing about pants..
Debesun Sep 22nd 2010 4:44PM
Also, the dress requirements failed to specify how one should wear a shirt. Though as the event does not require pants, you should introduce some kind of decency to this meet up and use the shirts to fashion some kind of dress.
If one was to order you to wear the shirt 'traditionally', then let us just say you would 'expose the vulnerabilities' of the dress code.

no one said you have to button it though.

Had a blast last year. Actually 'downgraded' to the Anabella this year so it would be easier to stagger back to than the Hilton (...and hey! Free breakfast!).
Look forward to seeing you folks again.

Random place to ask this, I suppose...
I've been trying to change my avatar for awhile now, but it doesn't seen like the "login here" link has ever worked.
How does one go about dumping the troll?
VioletArrows Sep 22nd 2010 4:51PM
You have to sign in through either Joystiq or Massively to change the settings.
Debesun Sep 22nd 2010 4:51PM
You have to do it through the Joystiq site. Click the Joystiq link on the top right, login with your details in the area on the top right of the Joystiq page, click your name, 'Edit Picture', browse, and upload your picture.
And it's a ogre. You should have seen the old ogre :(
I did my picture over a year or so ago before the paperclips and bubblegum at WoW(Insider?) gave way but this way works as far as I know D:

Wulf Sep 22nd 2010 5:10PM
Thanks a tonne, folks. I really appreciate it!
@Debesun: Oh, I remember.... I've been a member of the site since '06. Spent a good portion of that time trying to figure out how to change this damned thing. Even was on the Reader WoWspace at one point.

@Debesun: You have my thanks also! For a long time it's been a bit frustrating, because I'd be logged in (or so I thought) and I wouldn't be able to edit any of that. Now I know why/how to fix it! And have, though I'm not yet sure if my new userpic is up yet...
