Included in the update is a cool feature called screenshot mode, allowing you to take cool pictures of your characters in front of lots of backdrops, including the racial capital cities. The screenshot mode will even remove all of the interface elements from the phone, giving you a clean shot.
This update could be laying the groundwork for the newly revealed mobile guild chat service available through the armory app, potentially unlocked in the near future for subscribers to Blizzard's Remote Auction House service. Hopefully, more light will be shed on this functionality in the near future. Until then, get updating, because these new features are pretty neat. Previously, I would have had to bookmark the armory's RSS feed for my characters and open them in Safari on the iPhone, but with the new activity feeds built right into the armory app, things have gotten a lot less clunky.

A couple things I didn't see mentioned here or in the update list for the app.
It now supports multitasking and can run in the background.
It's been updated with Retina Display level graphics.

I'm glad to see them adding new features but how about iPad support? It's a little ugly in 2x mode.

Is it just me or when the image doesnt load correctly, sometimes you can see a screenshot ingame flicker about? I know it's not me playing as it has some addon in the middle
Also I have been getting the word about or Abeo appear in the middle in a green or white glow
Am I the only person getting this? iPod touch 2G 4.1

I'm having a problem getting the authenticator to generate a code when I'm trying to login to claim gold or post an auction. The login screen pops up like normal but then it asks me to type in an authenticator code instead of displaying the option to let you auto import one. Multitasking out to get the code manually doesn't work because I get a login error when I tab back every time. Anyone else having this issue?

Same problem, but you can close it, open autenticator app, get code (don't use the copy feature because mobile armory doesn't let you paste), reopen mobile armory and use your code.
Also helps to wait for a new code to generate so you have more time to enter it into the armory app.

The 3d will not work on the iPhone 3g with the os 4 update. Oh well it will work when i get my new phone in january

Uhh.. Guys? Orabig's Mobile Armory app for android had a (Slightly buggy) 3d Model viewer, "Find upgrade" paths that use WoWHead Data, Gearscore, Achievement tracking, and seamless integration with the official AH app for MONTHS.
And it's Free! (Albeit Ad-Supported with a single Admob banner. There is also an Ad-Free version for 3.50 Euro.)

If you pay for the mobile service and use an authenticator on you iphone don't upgrade. As stated earlier, the app no longer recognizes the authenticator and you can not cut and paste the code into the armory app. It also has a quick timeout so its almost impossible to enter the code from the authenticator in time. The drop shadow also makes the numbers harder to read now.

I installed the update and when I go to see the 3d image the screen is all buggy. Anyone else having the same issues?

the 3D model viewer is so buggy on the 2nd gen you cant even see your character screen starts flashing and shit they need to fix it
