Breakfast Topic: Do you own any WoW peripherals?

One of my friends struck it rich at a really young age. He grew up fairly poor and suddenly came into a large amount of money, and he now spends it on infinite amounts of frivolous items. He actually owns a Slap Chop, George Foreman Grill and some ShamWoWs. He also buys many of the WoW peripherals. Not only did he buy the sparkle pony and about every pet that WoW has put out, he also buys the actual gaming items. He has the Tap Chat, the wireless WoW headset, even the Wrath keyboard and Blizzard MMO gaming mouse.
Personally, the only peripheral I've bought from Blizzard is an authenticator, which netted me the cute little core hound pet. However, the sense of security that my seven 80s won't be cleaned out while my account is used to spam trade for some gold selling site is the real reason I picked it up. I have a Logitech mouse and headset -- nothing super fancy, but they work just fine for me, and I paid less than one piece's worth of the Blizzard direct WoW paraphernalia. My girlfriend was going to buy me the WoW headset for my birthday, but I told her to save her money and get me a game card, as opposed to dropping over $100 on a headset. I told her if I were going to spend that kind of money on something for my computer, it would be to update pieces of the hardware, like a better graphics card or a new processor.
In the end, the decision whether or not to buy something comes down to the consumer, so I leave it to you, the WoW gaming public: Do you own any of the gaming peripherals for WoW? If so, do they actually help make you a better player? If you feel they actually aid your gaming experience, can you provide some examples or testimonials as to why?

I agree ; Razer Naga is a huge advantage. It improved my reaction time enormously ! my skills are much better. Im also thinking to try Blizzard mouse one day.

I've got a Naga and highly recommend it. It's great for pretty much any type of PC game. The only thing they could do to make it better is to make it wireless.
I also have the wireless Creative headset. It's a decent, cheap wireless headset solution. It's also pretty comfortable to use for long raiding sessions.

Any feedback on the new Logitech g700?
I've got one on backorder with Logitech, but wondering what people think of it so far.

I have an authenticator, that's it.

Love the authenticator. Can't beat the piece of mind.
Planning to buy the naga. I'm curious to know whether a g13/15 would still materially improve gameplay if i already had the mouse. Seems like I would have enough buttons. What am I missing?

I have a naga. Took awhile to get used to it but I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

I dont got a naga mouse, but I got a
Steelseries merc that I love to play and do other things with.
The gaming section feels really nice for the hand and I cant really think to go back to ordinary keyboard :p

Anyone have feedback on the Steelseries WOW mouse? also, I use a Logitech keyboard with 18 macro buttons on the left side and find for dps that I have better mobility (with the mouse) while spamming dps (macro keys). For heals, the grid/clique/mouse keys combo is PERFECT (I have a logitech mouse that has 4 mappable buttons). Anyone have feedback on that? Am I missing some functionality of clique/grid/mouse keys for dps that is better than having macro keys assignments?

I dont' have any that are exclusively WoW-specific, but I did just get the SteelSeries Merc Stealth keyboard, which can be configured for WoW, and it is *awesome*. Took a litttle while to get used to all the extra keys around the movement keys, but now I can practically type with them as well. Very nicely laid out, easy to use, and comfortable.

I had purchased the amazing looking Steel Series WoW mouse.
It had tons of buttons, which was what I was looking for.
At the time the naga was still a few months away and I was impatient.
I got the mouse for a deal at $20 off the regular retail price. Great buy I thought.
Wrong.
My first complaint was that it was humongous. Now, for most ham fisted xbox players this is no problem. I however, have slightly smaller hands. However, I could reach most of the buttons with no problem (get into that in a sec). The real problem with the size was the actual height. I felt as if my hand had to climb onto a mountain. This made my wrist sore from being at a crazy angle or I would hold my entire arm up to compensate. I had constant sore arm.
The button set up was rather nice. There was a button near almost every finger. The problem with that is there is a button near my pinky on the right hand side. As anyone who plays guitar hero/Rock Band will tell you, your pinky is weak. I had trouble reaching the button and actually pressing it down without adjusting the grip on the mouse. Which defeated the whole purpose.
I also had trouble with the two buttons on either side of the mouse wheel. I loved them, I really did. However, they were extremely sensitive and I found myself accidentally brushing them while using the scroll wheel. I drank too many haste potions that way.
Also, there was a very nice 4 button configuration on the left side. I found it almost impossible to actually use 4 different abilities though. I could get the opposites to work fine (up and down, or forward and back), but trying to do more would end with what felt like a random ability generator. Okay I hit the button, which of these two abilities will we use?
The other problem with that button was that it was on the exact spot I rested my thumb. Well, of course it its, that is why it is useful. Except that the sheer size of the mouse required a firm grip to move it. During regular mouse movements I might accidentally trigger the button with my grip.
Okay, all of those complaints are rather poor. I have small hands and would rather it was a bit more polished of a mouse for the amount paid. I really did enjoy using the mouse (except for the terrible arm strain) and liked the silly led lights. I found my performance in raids was better while using the mouse.
However....
NEVER BUY THIS MOUSE!
The mouse is pretty, it looks metallic and cool.
Within 3 weeks of owning the mouse this metallic covering started to flake off where my palm rested. Tiny bits of shiny garbage would rub off on my hand leaving it black. Also, underneath this substance was a bland and ugly mouse.
Frankly, for the money I paid I was extremely angry that it would fall to pieces so quickly.
I really wished I had waited for the naga.

I have been using the belkin n52te for a couple of years now and I LOVE IT! My timing has improved immensely since BC. I have been researching the naga and went to bestbuy to look at it. All I have to say is - that is some hot mouse action! It looks as though Santa will be dropping one off...or, and more realistically, I'll go to bestbuy and pick one up.
