I also have the headset and I'm a big fan of it for it's cool factor. It is essentially only a WoW tool though, its not so great for music and other games.

I use the Creative WoW headset too, i like that it has a very good mic, which is awesome when you have to be in soo many online meetings and use Asterix softphones soo much like me.

I also use it when gaming, but its more of a cool i like it, than an edge over other stuff.
I like that is quite practical, because if you just want to hear some music, you can detach the microphone, if you want to move around the house, or go pick some cookies, while someone is talking on vent ..well its wireless so no problem there, you are close to the computer and dont mind the cable, you can just plug it in and charge it.

So, I think its a very good item to have, in fact many coworkers started buying theirs, and they are not even WoW fans or players, but its just so practical and cool that its worth the money.
