I don't think he was being elusive. The question wasn't really whether or not having a 310% mount will give you the training for free. We know that's true. It's a given. It was more, "Will completing that meta achievement after Cataclysm still award a 310% mount in the first place?"

Technically, we don't know *for sure* if it will or not. BUT the developers have always kind of wanted the 310% mount to be either through something really difficult or really time consuming, and the time involved in What a Long Strange Trip won't change. So, "most likely" is really the only answer.
