Around Azeroth Beta Edition: You'll never drink in this town again
Camdin of <Reign of Blood> on Gilneas (US-H) sent in this picture of his beta gob hunter drinking in the Alliance pub in Dalaran. Apparently the much-anticipated Camouflage ability allows you to wander into the opposing faction's area and stay there without being ejected, as long as you sit in a chair before Camouflage wears off. So Camdin is free to enjoy a couple of beers, eat some freshly cut watermelon, and admire the waitress's huge ... tracts of Iand.

Best ability ever.

That's awesome. I miss the Horde tavern. Used to be able to get inside with my mount and be allowed to stay. Not so much anymore. :(
Hal Sep 27th 2010 10:29AM
Agreed. I'd always run up to the horde players who just hearthed in and drop my DISCO ball. Party with the hordies!
Also, the horde never collects half-filled glasses of wine from their inn. Back in the day, this was the ONLY way to finish that quest in any reasonable amount of time!

I wouldn't say those tracts of land are THAT huge...
Tokkar Sep 27th 2010 10:17AM
o_O
Um...
Dude, she's a D-cup.

Jeeze...can't we have a conversation about square footage without Tokkar piping in about someone's breasts?
Deathknighty Sep 27th 2010 11:21AM
Tokkar, have you actually been in there to check? :O
Or are you an expert on the subject? O_o
Tokkar Sep 27th 2010 11:58PM
.................................what?
It's not like I actually...well I almost never...
LOOK! OVER THERE!

"One day, son, ALL this will be yours."
"What, the curtains?"
"...no, not the curtains, lad."

Best tracts of land are in the southshore inn.

And now that's gone with the Cataclysm. :( WHY BLIZZ WHY??!
(It is gone, isn't it? Oh, well, I shall continue with the wailing and gnashing of teeth just to be safe.)
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Don't know if they changed it, but it used to be if you were flying in, you could zip past the guards. Once there you could do what you wanted in the inn. The NPCs just went on with their usual thing I did this a few times on the Horde inn. But since there was nothing to do there I would just leave.
It did seem to me the Horde area had a lot more to it than the Alliance side

They fixed it. I used to take a gnome, dress up in Winter garb and /dance in their for a bit. So much gnome hate made it all worth it. lol

Anyone else notice the incredible amount of detail missing from the human character model in comparison to the goblin?
I'm hoping the original character models get a tune up soon. The difference is sad :(
Ringo Flinthammer Sep 27th 2010 12:46PM
I think everyone's aware of the difference in art quality. Blizzard says it's on the list. The danger, as a lot of their team knows from EQ1, is that people are attached to the old models, and even "just updating them" runs the risk of ruining them in some people's minds.
Merus Sep 27th 2010 11:00AM
It's no wonder the goblins admire the human female's cleavage.
Do you *realise* how much money you could get in there?
Ametrine Sep 27th 2010 11:57AM
Makes me wonder why they don't admire dwarven women much more, then, if that's their criteria.
Persephanie Sep 27th 2010 2:44PM
Epic!
Eric Sep 27th 2010 12:22PM
Props for the Python reference. That is all.

Mages can blink in past the guards too. I have had a lot of great fun doing that.
