Reader Jab tipped us off to
pictures of DC Unlimited's series 8 of the
World of Warcraft action figures, featuring:
- Gnome rogue Brink Spannercrank vs. Kobold Miner Snaggle
- The Black Knight
- Forsaken priestess Confessor Dhalia
All of the figures so far look really cool, and it's nice to see Blizzard having DC add in these quirky characters. The release date for the series 8 figures is slated for May 11, 2011. Check out the first-look pictures
here.
Series 6 is really cool, and these new figures don't seem like they're going to disappoint. Still ahead are the upcoming
Series 7 figures, including human paladin Judge Malthred, orc rogue
Garona and worgen spy Garm Whitefang.
Check out all of the DC Unlimited
WoW action figures at the
DC website. On the site, each series lists places where you can order or pick up figures, including plenty of brick-and-mortar stores for you old-school shoppers.

I'm particularly interested in the forsaken priestess (being one), yet i can't seem to find a picture of that model. Sucky :(

Agreed. I am thinking about getting Sylvanas, but not before I see the priestess. I really can only justify buying one

That black knight is awesome indeed!

tempted to get the black knight...tho i really just want the dk t8 (my personal favorite set) in some action-figure form. hopefully it'll stand up better (literally) than the last figure i got of the priest t5. she couldn't properly stand up for the life of her...

They should make WoW Hero Scape characters.
Wolftech Sep 27th 2010 9:23PM
Damn it.. Still no gnome mage. Get it together DC!
jay Sep 27th 2010 9:29PM
I'll be buying the Gnome!
Mahgo Sep 28th 2010 1:27AM
At least the gnomes shouldn't cost too much to make.
:P

What's that, up near the rafters?

It's a bird! It's a plane! Oh, no, wait, it's a bird.

I can't wait for the Lich King one coming in November - and Thrall and Sylvanas coming soon. :)

Message those thinking about buying the Sprocket Gyrospring figure: DON'T DO IT!
While the figure itself is enjoyable with cool little details and awesome Mechanostrider mount, the base supporting the figure is sadly too small to support it's own weight. The small metal pole holding the figure must inserted to the small mound at an angle. Combined with the fact the mound itself is lighter than the figure, it results in the object falling over, over and over..
Maybe this as been fixed for newer models. Just a heads up!

I own various dc unlimited figures and sadly most of them have a hard time staying up. Just try and lean them against something

Technically, they first showed these off at the Blizzard Licensed products panel at Comic Con...
Brink's also going to be one of the new characters in the upcoming World of Warcraft: Alliance original graphic novel. He was already briefly featured in WoW Special #1.

Is series 6 out yet? I preordered Sylvanas and Magni what seems like almost a year ago, and they're still listed as pre orders or not available in all the places i look!
ElrithCC Sep 28th 2010 3:18AM
Series 6 will be out any week. It's been pushed back from early September. If you preordered it you should be seeing a charge within 2-3 weeks.
WoW gold Sep 28th 2010 4:23AM
Cool! I'm thinking about collecting WoW action figures too. Has anybody else started collecting those?
ElrithCC Sep 28th 2010 3:14AM
Yeah, these were showcased months ago, even here on this very news website. I provided better links to some in depth pictures at the time.
I have a picture of the Forsaken Priestess as well as the Headless Horsemen sculpture we will be having a figure made from taken from Blizzard's panel at SDDC. Sorry the screen grabs are not high rez, but you can see them fairly well.
This is the Headless Horsemen.
