Links on the mobile version seem to be a little borked. Thanks for the heads up.

"EA giving free game to disgruntled APB buyers"
Good to hear theres still customer service like this left in this industry! I guess APB gamers had fun while it lasted and now they even get more games to play on.
Have fun with mass effect/Dragon age or any other game!

Want SW:TOR as soon as possible! It's a combination of three of my favorite games; WoW, City of Heroes, and Mass Effect (1+2).
Amaxe Sep 28th 2010 6:47PM
I haven't heard of most of these games (except SW:TOR and FFXIV). I'm still interested in SW and it does sound cool, but I found myself losing interest in FF.
Ah well, I'm no hardcore gamer...

It's ridiculous to hope for such, I know, but a free-to-play WOD would kick ass.
Ed Sep 28th 2010 6:56PM
Yeesh, I have to wonder if Massively was playing the same FFXIV beta I was playing.

TERA looks pretty awesome. I'd love to have the chance to play it, but I noticed it's still in beta. :(

So the World of Darkness realized Vampire: the Requiem gameworld SUCKS?
/here's to rolling a Tzimisce fleshcrafter or Setite smuggler.
Ametrine Sep 28th 2010 7:14PM
It doesn't SUCK, really, it's just VtM has a deeper metaplot more suitable for an MMO, unlike VTR's slightly looser at-the-Storyteller's-discretion layout.

APB actually looked like a decent game to mess around with, Why did they shut it down?
Tera does look pretty cool, I'm still drooling over the Guild wars 2 class videos.

OK, I just had a massive nerd-gasm over the DC Universe Trailer. I had no idea this game was in the works. I kinda wish I didn't. This is one thing aside from anything Tolkien that could steal time away from WOW for me.
Maybe the game is not nearly as cool as the trailer... right? Right? They usually aren't. I love the story-line going in.
Everything I've seen from the FFXIV confirms my bias against the whole franchise, too anime, goofy, silly. No appeal for me. But... DC UNIVERSE.... /shivers

I know it isn't exactly a new game, but Ultima Online has a new expansion in beta now.
